Car care tips
How Often Should You Detail Your Car in Florida?
Most South Florida drivers should wash their car every two weeks and get a full interior and exterior detail every one to three months. Our climate is harder on vehicles than most of the country: strong UV, salty coastal air, afternoon rain, pollen, and lovebug season all wear down paint and interiors faster.
A simple schedule that works
- Every 2 weeks: exterior hand wash to remove salt, bird droppings, and bugs before they etch paint
- Every 1–3 months: full interior and exterior detail
- Every 3 months: wax or sealant to protect against UV
- Once a year: glass ceramic coating and headlight check
Families with kids or pets, rideshare drivers, and anyone who parks near the beach usually benefit from the shorter end of that range. A monthly maintenance plan keeps the car on schedule without you having to remember.
Pricing is simple: sedans are $50 for an exterior wash, $75 for an interior detail, and $100 for a full interior and exterior detail. SUVs and trucks are $75, $100, and $125. Booking a second vehicle in the same visit saves 5% off the total.
